CEO’s Perspective: World Conference: An Effort of Many CMAA Member Volunteers

Listen to 2017 Conference Recordings on CMAA University

The recordings for many of the CMAA 90th World Conference on Club Management education sessions are now available on CMAA University for members who purchased Full Conference or Education-Only registrations. Conference attendees can earn up to five additional CMI credits online, by watching at least five hours of Conference education that they did not already earn credits for in Orlando and submitting the 2017 World Conference Credit Request form. The top five highest-rated recorded sessions will be available to all members later this summer.

Congratulations to CMAA’s Newest Certified Club Managers

CMAA is proud to announce that 25 club management professionals have attained the designation of Certified Club Manager (CCM). The CCM designation indicates that a club management professional has completed a rigorous course of study and training and shows a dedication to proficiency and expertise in club management. Congratulations to our newest CCMs.

Fall Business Management Institutes Filling Fast

With the ongoing popularity of the Business Management Institutes (BMI), many of the 2017 classes have filled to capacity for this year. A few programs still have limited seating such as: BMI GM/COO, offered at Michigan State University, November 13-17; BMI Tactical Leadership, held at Cornell University, September, 18-22; and BMI Strategic Leadership, located at various Boston clubs, November 6-10. The Club Foundation Exceeds $100,000 in Support of Tee It Up For the Troops
The Club Foundation is excited to announce that it has surpassed more than $100,000 in contributions to Tee It Up for the Troops, a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves U.S. military veterans and their families. Since 2008, The Club Foundation has donated $108,200 to Tee It Up for the Troops, providing much-needed support to assist the organization in fulfilling its mission to help veterans and military families successfully reintegrate into their communities.
